If you are reading this then you probably know us and do not need any introduction. I am going to assume this and skip the boring stuff because who we are will become evident the more (or less) I frequent this thing. This is my first blog, well since I made one freshman year of college. I hope that thing isn't floating around cyberspace like long lost space junk of the embarrassing kind. So please be nice. Anyways! I, Anna, will probably be the main writer. However, Davis, is eager to occasionally give advice in the style of "Ware's School For Boys" that our friends and family have become accustomed to. He is really a renaissance man of the the best kind.
Us and our Ingrid.
Okay, so back to blogging. I've never been a big fan of blogs. I only read them if I personally know the people. Sometimes our culture is way too involved in each others lives on a superficial level because of technology. I must admit am a hypocrite about blogs because Facebook and Instagram are a habit of mine. They are not any holier but probably less. Just a guess, don't hold me to that. My friend Lauren, who has a blog, suggested I make a blog because we are moving in less than two weeks. It makes sense. Our families and friends are spread all over. We moved to Colorado from Georgia nearly three years ago and now we are moving to Utah next Friday. I have so much I could say about the whole situation right now, but I'll save that for later. Bottom line is we are incredibly blessed by great family and friends who care about us enough to keep up with us. Since both Davis and I are terrible phone conversationalists, this may help bridge the gap in communication. Plus, everyone loves pictures. I already added one for your pleasure. Please note how cute our dog is and get used to seeing her face.
So enough trying to validate the use of blogging for my purposes.
First impression: no idea what to do, so just click on things and hope it turns out pretty.
I noticed there is no comic sans option for the font. I suppose it was the butt of too many font jokes and got the boot. Fare well, comic sans (for blogger at least, I am sure it still exists else where and maybe I should look into using it for my resume said no one ever).
And just because you like pictures, this happened in the middle of writing the very first post:
Viola, ski goggles and mini post-its
Charlie and ski goggles
These are Brian and Libby's kids. They have been our downstairs neighbors and dear friends. I'll miss these sweet faces. Oh, Libby said she would read the blog too. Yes!
good night for now,
anna
